I was blessed to grow up in a loving Christian home so I always knew about God from my church and my parents. I’ve been a Christian for as long as I remember but I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was 5 or 6. I grew up as a staff kid and a camper at Camp Patt every summer which really shaped my faith. The Lord grew my faith more each summer as He revealed Himself to me through the speakers and my counselors. I still remember many things that my counselors taught me because of the way they impacted me and my faith. When I got older I became a CIT. I found so much fulfillment and joy through the Spirit in serving at camp. I realized that the Lord gave me a passion for camp ministry and continued to serve at camp. The year Camp Patt closed in 2022, I was called to serve at Sacandaga Bible Conference as a counselor. The summer of 2023 I served there again. My faith grew abundantly in those two years of counseling. The Lord continued to show up in my ministry and I could feel Him pushing me and giving me strength every single day.

This year I transitioned to college (Grove City College) and the Lord’s providence has been so evident through it all. He has truly provided a nourishing community for me here to grow my faith each and every day.

This year I felt the Lord call me back to Camp Patt to serve as a counselor. The Lord showed me how much He can impact the campers through me with the memories I have as a camper and the passion He has given me for camp counseling. I am so excited to serve at camp this summer and to testify of God’s goodness.
