SUMMER 2022 PROGRAM IS CANCELLED

Dear Camp Pattersonville Campers, Parents, Alumni, and Friends,

With great disappointment, the Board of Camp Pattersonville has determined, for the summer of 2022, that we must cancel all overnight and day camp programs. This difficult decision was driven by a severe staff shortage even after months of active recruitment and prayer.  All families who have already registered a camper or CIT will soon receive a refund.  Please prayerfully consider sending your children to a neighboring Christian camp this summer, such as Camp Pinnacle or Sacandaga Bible Conference.

Please keep the Board in prayer that we may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding as we plan for the future of Camp Patt.  The Board is considering various options regarding the operations of Camp for this summer.  If your church or Christian organization is potentially interested in using the camp facilities for a picnic, families camping weekend, youth group retreat, etc. please let us know so we can consider this as we make plans.

The Board expresses its gratitude and appreciation for the countless campers, volunteers, donors, and friends who faithfully serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Camp Patt. We gratefully recognize and acknowledge the many people of the Christian community in the Capital District who enable Camp Patt to teach children to “Look unto Jesus”, just as others have done since 1948.  Thank you to many who have stood with us in prayer as we worked through this difficult decision.

Our trust in God’s sovereignty is not shaken, nor is our desire diminished to use this corner of His kingdom for His work.  Please continue to pray with us for His will to be done.  Please also pray for the other Christian camps, since many are also struggling to find enough staff this year.  Let us know if you have suggestions or questions at news@camppattersonville.org or 518-627-6276.

Sincerely and By His Grace, The Board of Camp Pattersonville

Al Steinbach (President), Matthew Hogan (Vice President), Sandy Milkins (Secretary), David Dombrowsky (Treasurer), Esther & Larry Denham, Renee Dombrowsky, Tammy Mills, and Debbie Steinbach
